Beth-El featured in CT Mirror Article

Where could CT’s homeless population go as snow approached?

Thank you CT Mirror for such an incredible article placing a much needed spotlight on homelessness during these deadly winter months.

Over this weekend’s winter storm, dozens of people experiencing homelessness in Milford scrambled to find a place to stay. Through No Freeze Shelter Services, Warming Centers, and hoteling, over 100 of our unhoused neighbors found a warm place to be.

We are so proud of our Outreach Navigator, Jason Blakeman, and Director of Programs, Hannah Smith, who worked tirelessly alongside staff of Beth-El Center, and dozens of community volunteers and partners.
