The Beth-El Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Milford, Connecticut. We provide emergency shelter, meals, and support services to individuals, families, and veterans experiencing homelessness and hunger. Serving 13 municipalities in the shoreline and lower Naugatuck Valley area, we offer case management to help residents achieve self-sufficiency and permanent housing. Our mission is to extend dignity and respect to all individuals and families while connecting them to housing, food and support services.

What’s Happening Now

Our Community Kitchen has been open 24/7 and turned into a Warming Center for most of the month of January and February to help anyone and everyone who needs to come inside and stay warm during this severe weather.

We are extremely low on the above items. Salty Snacks include goldfish, pretzels, and chips. An example of a Sweet Snack is cookies.

Items can be shipped to us (90 New Haven Ave in Milford) via Amazon or dropped off any time!

Thank you for thinking of the unsheltered individuals who need our help the most right now!

Join us on Wednesday, February 25th, for a delicious 5 Course Dinner at Bin 100 (100 Lansdale Ave, Milford) with Wine Pairings by J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines.

Tickets are $135 per person (Taxes and Gratuities Included) and can be purchased here. Tables can also be purchased through the same link.

The delicious 5 Course Menu with Wine Pairings - which includes pan seared scallops, boneless short rib, and crème brûlée - can be found here.

All proceeds support the programs and services at Beth-El Center.

We can't wait to see you there!

We can all feel the weather is becoming much colder.

The Beth-El Center operates an overnight Warming Center in our Community Kitchen for unsheltered individuals from November 24th through April 1st. This is seen as crucial support and a lifesaving program in the community.

We not only offer a warm place to escape the cold, but we also offer food and hot beverages to our guests.

This year, 45% more of our unhoused neighbors will need access to Warming Centers so they do not freeze overnight. When you donate here, your donation goes directly to supporting this Program.
