The Beth-El Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Milford, Connecticut. We provide emergency shelter, meals, and support services to individuals, families, and veterans experiencing homelessness and hunger. Serving 13 municipalities in the shoreline and lower Naugatuck Valley area, we offer case management to help residents achieve self-sufficiency and permanent housing. Our mission is to extend dignity and respect to all individuals and families while connecting them to housing, food and support services.
What’s Happening Now
This Wish List supports individuals who are currently unsheltered and continuing to rebuild stability after one of the harshest winters Connecticut has ever seen.
These individuals have survived extreme conditions and many of them are still navigating encampments and relying on street outreach.
These items go directly toward helping them survive and move through the day safely and with dignity.
All items can be dropped off or shipped via Amazon to Beth-El Center at 90 New Haven Ave in Milford. Drop off is ANY TIME! There is always someone waiting at our front desk to greet you.
Please label all shipments Outreach.
And if men’s underwear could be in sizes (Medium, Large, and XL) and men’s T-Shirts could be in sizes (Medium, Large, XL, and XXL) that would be most helpful.

This Wish List contains additional items that will help unsheltered individuals rebuild their lives after surviving an incredibly destructive winter.
Tents, Sleeping Bags, and Camping Equipment will provide those who lost everything with temporary, life-saving shelter, warmth, and tools greatly needed to get through each and every day.

Our next upcoming event is An Evening with Jay Rowe. Join us on Thursday, June 11th, at 5:30PM, as Milford native and pianist - Jay Rowe - once again dazzles us with an incredible evening of contemporary smooth jazz. Connect with us over music, drinks, conversation, and most importantly support the programs and services of Beth-El Center! Tickets are just $65 per individual ($125 per couple) and include hors d’oeuvres, beer, and wine… We can’t wait to see you there!
